The Road to the Korea Sprint 2025 got underway at Busan on Sunday March 9th with the first leg of the Sprint Series, the Busan Ilbo Sprint (1200M KOR-G3). Four-year-old VINCERO CAVALLO ran out the winner, defeating veteran MIGHTY GO while up and comers BLACK MAMBA and CHOEGOUI KKUM came home in 3rd and 4th. 2022 Korea Sprint winner EOMA EOMA was 5th.
Trained at Seoul by Seo In-seok and ridden by Jo Jae-ro, VINCERO CAVALLO is a Korean-bred four-year-old by Cowboy Cal. He ran 6th behind Remake in the OBS Korea Sprint last September as a three-year-old and he looks set to be one of the leading local contenders for this year's event.
The next led of the Sprint Series is the SBS Sports Sprint (1200M KOR-G3), a race which holds International Listed Status, at Seoul Racecourse onSunday April 13.
